Science parks, colleges and Newmarket Road trade units
Cambridge has an unusual mix of commercial heating stock for a city of its size. Lab and office blocks on the science and business parks north of the city, off Milton Road and Cowley Road, tend to run modular gas boiler cascades with pressurisation units, plate heat exchangers and building management controls. Around the CB1 station quarter and the Cambridge Biomedical Campus fringe there are newer multi-let offices and hotels with rooftop or basement plant.
